Licensed Online Casinos in Switzerland 2026: The Official List

Switzerland is a closed market. Since 1 January 2019 an online casino may accept Swiss players only when a Swiss land-based casino holds a licence extension granted by the Federal Council and the Federal Gaming Board has approved each individual game. This guide follows the regulator's own published information instead of treating an accessible website as proof of authorisation. Updated September 2026.
The regulator's list is the only proof
The Federal Gaming Board publishes the casinos that operate online, with the consumer domain of each platform. On the page published on 17 March 2026 those platforms are 7melons.ch, online.swisscasinos.ch, admiral.ch, casineo.ch, casino777.ch, jackpots.ch, mycasino.ch, pasino.ch, starvegas.ch and swiss4win.ch. A brand that is not on that list is not authorised in Switzerland, whatever licence it shows in its footer.
Casino games, betting and lotteries are separate
The Federal Gaming Board covers casino games. Large-scale lotteries and sports betting are supervised by Gespa, with Swisslos in the German-speaking cantons and Loterie Romande in the French-speaking cantons. A licence for one branch never covers the other, so check which product you are actually looking at before comparing offers.
What network blocking means for players
Domains of unauthorised operators are placed on official blocking lists and Swiss internet providers must block them. A mirror domain that still opens is not a legal offer: it is an unauthorised site that has not yet been listed. Money deposited there sits outside Swiss player-protection rules, and the tax treatment of winnings differs from authorised play.
How to compare the authorised platforms
Once you are on a listed .ch platform, compare the game range approved for that operator, the published bonus conditions, the accepted payment methods, the identity verification steps, the withdrawal procedure, the complaints route and the responsible-gambling tools. Read every condition on the operator's own site: figures quoted elsewhere go out of date.
